Intervals I

Is a self-generating, time-based work structured as a system rather than a fixed image.

A single form evolves through subtle changes in light, contrast, and structure over extended duration. Change is gradual and cumulative, perceptible through sustained viewing rather than immediate motion.

Once minted, the work runs autonomously. It requires no external input, updates, or maintenance.

Intervals I

Practice

This practice treats time as material rather than narrative.

Works are constructed as constrained systems that unfold independently, privileging duration, restraint, and continuity over spectacle or resolution. Meaning emerges through persistence rather than explanation.

Intervals is an ongoing series of autonomous, time-based systems.
